He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
An update on me: I had chemo on Friday – the evil orangeade, as I’ve taken to calling it, and surprisingly, I feel okay. Tired, but that’s normal. Last round, I was nauseous and achy. Maybe the 24 pounds I’ve lost since I started the evil orangeade (Doxil, for those that knows) is helping with the achiness and fatigue!Next week I need at least two white blood cell shots, which stinks because they are the ones I get the bad side effects from. The chemo nurses let me choose. Do I want Neupogen, which causes my entire skeleton to burn and vibrate every time I move, or do I want Leukine, which sends me to bed with a fever and flu symptoms? Hmmm, decisions, decisions. If I can get a refill on my pain meds, I’ll go with the Neupogen.
Some of you may be wondering why I haven’t been reporting “numbers” lately. Well, I’ll tell you this. The numbers were getting to me – I was basing my wellness on the vagaries of numbers that can be affected by so many things! So, I’ve decided on a more holistic approach. If I feel well, then that’s good, no matter WHAT the numbers say! And truthfully, I feel so much better than I have in quite a while~!
Praise God for the gifts He gives us every day, and especially for the Gift we celebrate today – He is risen, he is risen indeed! Alleluia~!

Happy Easter, Robin!
I hope your Easter Sunday was a great one…
It is never officially Easter in my book until you post this cartoon. I look for it each year as I do the arrival of robins and crocus. Happy Easter my friend. You remain in my prayers.
This is the first I have seen this wonderful cartoon. It, along with other blessing that have happened today in the family have truly helped my feel that he has risen more than past years. Thank you.
ALLELUIA indeed
