Oh Good. Thundersnow.
Yes, Thundersnow. That’s when there’s 2-3″ per hour rate of snow when the temperature is just at freezing. Yes, it’s accumulating. Yes, it will melt once it stops, but it’s supposed to continue till 8 AM. That’s three more hours. That’s 6 more inches. And that’s the news, APRIL 6.
Yeesh.

I acecpt full responsibility. I never should have put the shovels away!
I just heard that we are still under a winter storm warning until 8:00 p.m. tonight
Don’t they know it’s spring? Didn’t they get the memo?
Fortunately, as I see about 4″ on the grass and hanging heavy on the wires, my front walk is still relatively clear. Thank goodness it IS April 6… the ground is warmer. Let’s hope it stays this way – I’m leaving for work in about 1/2 hour.
I hear ya. We had snow last Thursday. 3″ of the stuff. In Seattle. Where it doesn’t snow. Yesterday and today it was in the mid 70s. By Saturday we’re supposed to be back to about 40 degrees.
I am jealous… everyone is getting snow except us….
Well that’s what I get for living in the south…
