  • Two too good to pass…

From my friend Kathy, who has, by the way, escaped to California…

    Michigan Winter Poem
    (dedicated to Emjay…)

    It’s winter in Michigan,
    And the gentle breezes blow
    Seventy miles an hour
    at twenty-five below.

    Oh, how I love Michigan
When the snow’s up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
So I guess I’ll hang around.
    I could never leave Michigan
Cuz I’m frozen to the ground!

From my friend Diane – my new favorite saying:

    MOTTO OF A STRONG WOMAN:
LIVE YOUR LIFE IN SUCH A WAY THAT
WHEN YOUR FEET HIT THE FLOOR IN THE MORNING,
SATAN SHUDDERS AND SAYS ” OH CRAP….SHE’S AWAKE.”
